A roadside bomb struck a civilian car in Wayan area of Shah Wali Kot district in southern Kandahar province yesterday, October 25, said Jamal Nasir Barekzai, a spokesman for the provincial police chief.
The police spokesperson blamed the Taliban for the blast which claimed lives the two civilians.
The Taliban group, however, has yet to comment.
