At least three people were killed and six others injured on Wednesday morning in a bomb blast in eastern Afghanistan’s Laghman province, Asadullah Dawlatzai, a spokesman for the provincial governor said.
The blast, targeting the police, occurred in Esmat Square of Mehtarlam city in the morning, killing three people and wounding another seven, according to the spokesman.
The people pronounced dead and injured were taken to the provincial hospital, according to the source.
No one immediately claimed responsibility for the attack.
