The helicopter belonging to the Afghan Air Force crashed in Nawa district of the province on Wednesday around 1:15am [local time], the country’s Defense Ministry said in a statement.
According to the statement, nine people on board were pronounced dead in the crash which the ministry announced it had occurred due to technical snags.
A further investigation into the incident will be carried out, said the statement.
