A former police officer in the southern Ghazni province’s third district, who was named Nazir Ahmad Ghorzang, was fatally shot by unidentified armed men, Wahidullah Jumazada, a provincial governor’s spokesman confirmed to TKG.
It took place yesterday around 5:00pm, said Mr. Jumazada, putting the toll of wounded to one.
No one immediately claimed responsibility, but according to the governor’s spokesman, investigation efforts were ongoing to identify the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
