South Korea said a country’s official had disappeared from a patrol boat near the border and was later found in the North’s waters.

According to intelligence sources of South Korea, the North Korean forces shot him, then poured oil over his body and set it ablaze.

The ministry condemned the act, calling it “brutal”.

The North Korea has yet to comment.

According to reports, it is the second time North Korea has killed a civilian from the South.
