U.S. Peace Envoy Says Violence “Too High”, Washington Expects Further Setbacks
Zalmay Khalilzad, the U.S. Special Representative for the Afghan Reconciliation said on Tuesday at a hearing in the U.S. House of Representatives that violence remains “too-high” and Washington expects more setbacks in ongoing peace talks between Afghan warring parties.
