A key Taliban commander Mawlawi Sadiqullah was killed by Afghan forces in Jagdalak area of Suroobi district, in the capital of Afghanistan, Ferdaws Faramarz, a spokesman for police chief told TKG.
The Taliban has yet to comment.
A day earlier too, Afghan forces had reportedly inflicted casualties to the Taliban militants in the same area.
