The Afghan Acting Foreign Minister Mohammad Hanif Atmar held a visit to the Tajik capital of Dushanbe at an official invitation of neighboring country’s FM Sirajuddin Mehruddin, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
Officials in the meeting will discuss bilateral matters, border management and regional security, transportation, trade and investment and other issues, according to the statement.
Afghan top official Mohammad Hanif Atmar, along with a number of governors, MPs and government officials, is set to meet with Tajik President Emomali Rahmon, Prime Minister Qaher Rasoolzada, Foreign Minister Sirajuddin Mehruddin and other senior officials.
