Afghanistan’s coronavirus case count hit 38,494 as 96 additional COVID-19 cases were reported over the past 24 hours.
The toll of recoveries hit 30,557, with 20 COVID-19 patients cured in the last 24 hours.
More than 27.1 million people across the globe have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and 883,339 have died of the disease which first appeared in the Chinese central city of Wuhan.
