Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan are undergoing treatment at Nanavati Hospital, with an official confirming to the Indian Express that they had “facilitated their tests” and that the two are in stable health condition.
“I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff undergone tests , results awaited,” Amitabh Bachchan took to twitter.
An hour later, Abhishek, 44, posted: “Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for COVID 19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you.”
India which is now the third country with the highest number of COVID-19 cases has registered 820,916 cases and 22,123 related deaths since the outbreak.
