The Afghan Public Health Ministry announced that within the last 24 hours, 17 coronavirus related deaths were registered, raising the total to 937 in the country.
The total recoveries hit 20,700 as recently 549 patients having been contracted with illness got better after the illness.
As country see surge in the coronavirus cases, Afghan ministry of health has constantly urged people to take the disease seriously.
