The Taliban insurgents stormed security forces in Nader Khan area of Maroof district in the southern Kandahar province, leaving five of the group’s fighters killed and another eight wounded, Jamal Naser Barekzai, a spokesman for the provincial police chief spoke to TKG.
There were no report of casualties on Afghan forces.
The Taliban group is yet to comment.
