Tareq Arian, a spokesman for the Afghan Ministry of Interior (MoI), said last night (May 19), the armed Taliban opened fire and gunned down eight people gathered in prayer in Khalazani village of Charikar city.
Eight people were killed and five others wounded as the militants fatally shot at people, Arian said.
The armed Taliban, however, claimed the Afghan forces were responsible for the attack, leaving nine people killed.
