May 12 (The Killid Group) – Reacting to the recent attack by the armed Taliban on a security outpost in Laghman province, Sediq Sediqqi, the Afghan presidential spokesperson condemned the attack, saying the group insists on continued violence.
In a recent tweet, the presidential spokesperson, Sediq Sediqqi, said “… the Taliban’s heinous attack on ANDSF in Laghman is despicable and strongly condemnable,” adding, “The [group]’s recent attacks discloses their insistence on continued war and killing Afghans,” he tweeted in local languages.
Expecting the international community to condemn the insurgents continued hostilities in the country, Mr. Sediqqi added, “Taliban’s increased violence against the Afghan people and Gov, in the month of Ramadhan and amidst the #Covid19, must be condemned by the International.”
Sediqqi’s remarks in a twitter thread comes a day after the Taliban militants stormed a security and defense forces outpost in Alishing district of Laghman province, leaving six ANA soldiers killed and five others wounded.
