May 12 (The Killid Group) – A suicide attack in the eastern Nangarhar province left dozens killed and injured.
Ataullah Khogyani, a spokesman for the provincial governor, confirmed a suicide attack took place today at around 11:00am, during the funeral of a former commander in Shiwa area of the province.
According to him, at least 15 people, including a member of Nangarhar’s provincial council were killed and 45 others injured.
Qais Malikzai, a member of parliament (Wolesi Jirga) for the province was also among those injured in the attack.
So far, no group has claimed responsibility for today’s dead-dealing attack.
