April 27 (The Killid Group) — At least 965,435 cases of coronavirus, including 54,856 related deaths have been reported in the United States, according to Johns Hopkins University’s tally.
The New York City remains the country’s worst-affected part, with a total of 20,861 deaths in the city as of Sunday, a tally by Reuters indicated.
Following the New York State, the state of New Jersey has the highest number of infections and fatalities by the coronavirus pandemic.
As of Thursday, the New Jersey has reported 109,038 total infections in the state while 6,003 deaths in the state.
Globally, at least 206,000 people have died from COVID-19 worldwide and more than 2.9 million have been infected by the coronavirus pandemic, following an outbreak that started in Chinese central city of Wuhan, in early December.
