March 8, (The Killid Group) − Three senior members of Saudi Arabia’s royal family, including the king’s brother, were arrested for unexplained reasons, media reported.
Three members of the Saudi Arabia’s Royal family, of which two men were among the kingdom’s most influential figures, were reportedly detained early on Friday, March 6.
The reason is not clear so far; however, according to sources, the detainees were accused of high “treason”.
The three men arrested are the king’s younger brother Prince Ahmed bin Abdulaziz, former crown prince Mohammed bin Nayef, and a royal cousin, Prince Nawaf bin Nayef.
The detentions were first revealed by the Wall Street Journal newspaper.
