(TKG) – Media quoted health officials in Iran as saying that over the past 24 hours, nine more have been died of the COVID-19.
Kianoosh Jahanpour, the Head of the Public Relations and Information Center of Iran’s Ministry of Health, said that the total deaths from the coronavirus has risen to 43.
According to him, so far, 593 positive cases infection by the novel coronavirus have been registered in Iran.
He also urged all the citizens of his country to reduce their trips and refrain from attending large gatherings.
The coronavirus, officially known as COVID-19, which spread in China’s central city of Wuhan, has infected more than 86,000 people around the world with hot-spots in Europe and the Middle East.
