(TKG) — China’s coronavirus has killed at least 425 people in mainland China and infected more than 20,000 globally.
According to world media agencies, at least 425 people have died in mainland China – one in Hong Kong and one in the Philippines – while more than 20,000 have been infected worldwide, most of them in China.
Following the coronavirus outbreak, China has recently banned the wildlife trade, yet the campaigners have urged China to apply a permanent ban on the wildlife trade.
The new coronavirus is thought to have originated in a seafood market, where wildlife was also sold illegally in China’s central city of Wuhan.
