(TKG) − According to the officials in 209th Shaheen Corps, as result of operations conducted by Shaheen 112 Army Corps in the northwestern province of Faryab, at least seven armed Taliban were killed and six others injured.
Mohmmad Hanif Rezaee, the army corps spokesperson told on Sunday, February 2, as a result of a clash between Afghan forces and the Taliban militants in Badghisi area of Khwaja-Sabzposh district in Faryab province, seven members of the Taliban group were killed and six others injured.
According to him, the area of Badghisi has been fully cleared of the Taliban.
The Taliban, however, have not commented in regard with the incident.
