(TKG) — According to media reports, U.S. President Trump met with Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday [January 27, 2020] at the White House, saying that he would release his long-awaited Middle East peace plan on Tuesday.
U.S. President Donald Trump said on Monday during a meeting with Israel Prime Minister that he would release Israel-Palestine peace plan, which includes a map outlining proposed new Israeli borders, media reported.
This plan is believed to be heavily in favor of Israel; however, Mr. Trump said at the meeting that his plan “makes sense for everybody”, and added that for Palestinians, “it’s something they should want”.
Palestinian leaders, who no longer speak to Trump officials, are likely to oppose the plan.
