(TKG) ─ World news agencies reported, the death toll of the newly emerged coronavirus rose to 106, and the total number of cases of infection reached to more than 4,500.
According to media reports, the coronavirus death toll in China reached to 106 people though China and other countries are trying to stop the spread of the virus.
Chinese officials told media that travel restrictions have been tightened and wearing masks in public is now mandatory in some cities.
The outbreak of the virus comes during the Lunar New Year celebration which usually sees millions travel across the country to visit relatives and friends.
The newly identified coronavirus spread first in central Wuhan city of China and is believed to have originated late last year in a Wuhan market illegally selling wildlife.
