(TKG) ─ Three Katyusha rockets landed on Tuesday [January 21, 2020] inside Baghdad’s Green Zone which houses government buildings and foreign missions, Iraqi police sources told media.
According to media reports, the three rockets were launched from Zafaraniyah district outside Baghdad, adding that two rockets fell near the U.S. embassy.
Iraq’s Green Zone houses government buildings, foreign embassies, including U.S. embassy, foreign missions, as well as international organizations such as United Nations and European Union.
