(TKG) — According to media reports, Monday [January 20, 2020], five people, including one child, have been killed in the Russian city of Perm when a hot water pipe exploded and flooded a basement hotel room with boiling water.
Media reported, five people have been killed and three other people have been taken to hospital with burns after hot water pipe exploded and flooded a basement in a Russian hotel.
A doctor treating the victims, said a 33-year-old woman had burns covering 35% of her body. Two men aged 28 and 35 were in a less serious condition, the source further added.
Investigations are being underway to establish whether it was resulted from negligence.
