(TKG) ─ According to media reports, the leader of Lebanon’s Hezbollah group said on Sunday [January 5, 2020] that evicting U.S. military forces is now a priority.
Hassan Nasrallah added in his speeches on Sunday as saying that the U.S. military, which recently killed Iranian senior commander, Qasem Soleimani, “will pay the price.”
“The suicide attackers who forced the Americans to leave from our region in the past are still here and their numbers have increased,” Nasrallah added.
The remarks comes after Qassem Soleimani, the head of Iran’s elite Quds military force, along with Iraqi militia leader Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, was killed early Friday in U.S. airstrike in Baghdad.
