(TKG) ─ Eighteen people in eastern part of Democratic Republic of Congo have been killed in a militia attack by unidentified armed group, a local official said on Monday [December 30, 2019].
The police of the area confirmed the death of eighteen people in the incident, adding that all the victims were civilians.
It has been, reportedly, said that over the years there have been occasional clashes between the government forces and militants, that, so far, almost 200 civilians have been killed and dozens have been injured.
