It was reported by U.S. media as saying that vehicle pileup in Virginia at about 7:51 a.m. Sunday [December 22, 2019] left five people killed and 51 more seriously injured.
According to the source, fifty-one people were treated and transported for injuries.
The cause of the pileup is not yet clear and investigations are underway; however, the state police said, “…we do have causative factors, which is heavy fog and icy road conditions,”
In many countries, including the United States, where the overcrowding is rampant, such incidents occur once in a while and leaves several casualties.
