Saudi-led military coalition fighting in Yemen said on Tuesday [November, 26, 2019] that it has released 200 Houthi prisoners.
It has been quoted in a statement released by the coalition on Tuesday [November, 26, 2019] saying that restrictions on Yemeni airspace to allow flights out of the capital city, Sanaa, will be eased to transport people requiring medical treatment abroad.
In the meantime, one of the senior rebel officials, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi welcomed the move calling upon the coalition to release “all war prisoners.”
In recent weeks, Saudi officials have held indirect talks with Houthi rebels to strike a cease-fire and end the war.
Saudi-led coalition has been battling against Houthi rebels since 2015 that reportedly left hundreds of thousands of people dead and injured.
