GHAZNI (The Killid Group) – Provincial office of the Independent Election Commission set up election kits to at least eight districts of the Ghazni, as they bid to completely facilitate residents for the upcoming presidential elections on 28th September despite high security alerts.

Mohammad Arif Noori, spokesman for the Ghazni Governor, told The Killid in a statement the election kits are provided and set in Andar, Qara Bagh, Aab Band, Maqar, Gelan, Jaghori, Malistan and Nawoor districts.

Officials are continuing their efforts to facilitate the remaining districts and pave the way for local residents to the polling stations later this month, he added.

The Afghan citizens are due to cast their vote on September 28th, having a tough responsibility of picking the next leader for the country despite the ongoing security threats throughout Afghanistan.
