KABUL (The Killid Group) – President Ashraf Ghani met with ADB Director General for Central and West Asia Werner Liepach at Presidential Palace Wednesday, ARG said in a statement.
Both sides discussed ADB’s assistance to Afghanistan, particularly in terms of financing and supporting the infrastructure and transport sectors, the statement read.
Meanwhile, Liepach said the agency’s plans are in line with the priorities of the Afghan government.
The President expressed his gratitude for the assistance and cooperation of Asian Development Bank, adding the projects the organization is funding will continue to grow Afghanistan.
