KANDAHAR (The Killid) – Afghan President Ashraf Ghani during the second day of his visit to Kandahar province said women products are hold superior by five percent than of men’s at National Procurement Authority, said ARG in a statement.
According to the statement, Ghani met with a number of women – who stood tall in the field of business and productivity – in Kandahar province.
He stressed the need for establishing women’s trade unions, as he directed the Ministry of Industry and Commerce to contact all Afghan businesses abroad create a special unit for Kandahar women’s handicrafts.
Meanwhile, President Ghani addressed women’s access to health services in Kandahar province inadequate, saying “Aino Mina Hospital will be soon provided with facilities to accommodate at least 100 patients at a time, particularly for women.”

Earlier, Ghani inaugurated the newly-constructed Kandahar Airport Road and named it after late General Abdul Raziq, who was assassinated by a Taliban infiltrator last year.
Ghani also launched second phase of the solar power plant that has the capacity to generate 30MW of power, with a cost of $39 million.
