FARYAB (The Killid) – At least seven Taliban, including their commander, were killed, as Bulchiragh operations by Afghan security force continue to clear the area of militants.
During the operations, 12 Taliban insurgents were wounded and further 10 captured armed by forces.
Mohammad Hanif Razae, spokesman for the 209th Shaheen Corps, said to The Killid, “clashes still continue in surrounding and center of the Bulchiragh district, and armed insurgents seem to seek shelters at local residences.”
He did not comment on any casualties Afghan forces may have suffered during the operations.
Taliban so far did not comment on the incident.

FARYAB (The Killid) – Afghan security forces in an operation has retrieved Bulchiragh district of Faryab in northern part of the country, local authorities said.
Mohammad Hanif Razae, Spokesman for the 209th Shaheen Corps, said to The Killid, “this operation had started last (Monday) midnight, and up until now is ongoing in Bulchiragh district.”
Government armed opposition group retreated from the battlefield and sought safety at local residences in the area, causing trouble for the people and the operation, he added.
According to the Razae, Afghan security forces carried airstrikes and ground operations against the militants to clear areas out of their control.
Bulchiragh district has been under control of the opposition group for a year now, which is freed from their control, ensuring safety to the residents in the district.
