MoRR to Discuss Status of Afghan Refugees in Pakistan, Iran

KABUL (The Killid) – Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation Minister Sayed Hussain Alemi Balkhi headed to Islamabad on Sunday afternoon to attend a quadruple meeting, discussing the situations of Afghan refugees, MoRR said in a statement.

KABUL (The Killid) – Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation Minister Sayed Hussain Alemi Balkhi headed to Islamabad on Sunday afternoon to attend a quadruple meeting, discussing the situations of Afghan refugees, MoRR said in a statement.

According to the statement, Balkhi is due to attend a quadruple meetings between Pakistan, Iran and United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, where he would represent Afghanistan as he encloses the ongoing situations of Afghan refugees.

Meanwhile, he will also attend another meeting with Pakistani and Iranian officials in a bid to discuss the obstacles and challenges of Afghan refugees.

It comes at a time the MoRR depicts on an unprecedented figure of refugees returning from Pakistan and Iran in recent months, ranking to at least 6,000 refugees on daily bases.
