ANKARA, Turkey – As seasonal downpours went off throughout the cities in capital Turkey late on Sunday, at least three person reported killed, and many suffered great loss substantially.
Amongst the victims are a women, 56, who failed to close the door of her living room at Karatas, Ankara, as flood of water pushed her through and drawn her to death.
According to local media, many highways and main roads – especially in Sinjan and Atemis – were halted for traffic.
Meanwhile, flights were delayed for several hours during the day.
Officials warned residents of possible causalities and advised to bear safety gears.
