Pakistan authorized its military on standby to respond comprehensively to any aggression coming from India, amid escalating tensions between the two nuclear-rivals after the Pulwama attack.
Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Mohammad Faisal told local media that Pakistan has put its forces on standby to respond to any threat or actions coming against the Islamic nation.
According to Faisal, Pakistan’s relations with India is cutting a rough time and is crucial to both sides, but Islamabad is determined to take measurable steps towards détente.

The remarks by spokesman Faisal comes after India recently struck Pakistan in a military operation, killing at least three of its forces, including one civilian.
Although both sides declared ceasefire in 2003, but border sites of India-controlled and Pakistan-administrated Kashmir has been suffering great losses over so-called territorial disputes.
