Former governor to Balkh Atta Mohammad Noor in a well-wishing New Year message sent to media outlets Tuesday said he is looking forward for the implementations of accords inked between the officials of defense and interior ministry.
However, Noor does not elaborate on the details of the agreement, but warns he would explore all possible options if not implemented.
According to Noor, some key officials of the Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Interior Affairs have visited Balkh aimed to de-escalating tensions over the appointment of Abdul Raqib Mubarez as provincial security head, and have signed certain agreements.
Noor, meanwhile, added that he does not favor any conflict, but would not remain silent against those who make illogical remarks and unreasonable demands.
It comes after Atta Mohammad Noor opposed the appointment of Abdul Raqib Mubarez as the provincial security head, which leaded to violations and hours of gunfight between both sides, the Noor advocators and the government security officials.
