After an order by the head of Taliban militants, the group has released at least 58 Afghan Army police who were captivated in Murghab district of Badghis province in northwest Afghanistan, the Taliban said in a statement.
According to the statement, the Taliban has released the confined forces on an agreement they would not join and sever Afghanistan and its security forces when returned.
It comes after defense ministry of the country in a statement on Monday said that Taliban have captured 58 of its military forces, and are plotting operations to free them from their hand.
