Nangarhar (The Killid) – A group of five armed insurgents carried an attack at a private construction company, ‘MQ Construction’, near Jalalabad airport in Nangarhar province, local authorities said.
Attaullah Khogyani, provincial governor spokesmen, said to the Killid, “A number of armed insurgents have attacked at a private construction company near airport early this morning, which the security forces have gained control over at 11:30 today.”

Khogyani said a suicide bombers initially detonated their explosives while two others were shot dead by the security forces. Police have taken down some five suicide bombers before they blew themselves at the scene, he added.
According to Khogyani, at least 16 people were killed and nine other landed in hospital.
Local police have discovered and seized some explosive devices and vest, which was stuffed in a vehicle.
No groups have so far taken responsibly for the attack.
