Zahedan, Iran – At least three nabbed in connection to Wednesday’s terror attack in Zahedan, Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps confirmed on Monday.
According to Iranian news, Attorney General of Sistan-Baluchistan Ali Mohdi said that three suspects involved in Wednesday’s terror attack were nabbed by the security forces.
Iran revolutionary Guard Corps said suspected were arrested in Sarawan and Khash cities. We have discovered and seized more than 100 kg of explosive devices, including weapons and ammunitions, he added.
Meanwhile, Ali Larijani of Iran Parliament claimed these attacks have been plotted in Pakistan.
Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, also summoned Pakistan’s ambassador in regards to the claim.
Bahram Qasemi, spokesman to Iran’s MoFA on an interview with reporters said, “It is intolerable that Pakistan government and their army are not able to hinder such a terrorist acts from their land to Iran territory.
It comes after 27 Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) have been killed in a suicide bombing targeting IRGC vehicle in Sistan-Baluchistan on February 13.
