Afghan Special Forces, in a special operation, have seized a Taliban prison in Helmand province, southern Afghanistan.
In a statement Special Operation Corps said this operation is held over a Taliban prison in Washir district of Helmand province, which left at least one Taliban insurgent dead and seven others were released from their captivity.
According to the statement, the prisoners were ordinary civilians.
At least one Taliban prison and a vehicle (Corolla) were seized during the operation.
Taliban has not commented on this.
