CE Abdullah Meets With Croatian President

The Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah has met the Croatian president Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic in Sapidar palace, the Executive Directorate press office quoted in a statement.

According to the statement, CE Abdullah praised the cooperation and assistance of the Croatian forces with Afghan troops in the framework of the Resolute Support Mission in Mazar-e Sharif.

Abdullah stressed on supporting of Afghan security forces in the current situation and called it important in fight against terrorism, providing peace and holding the upcoming elections.

The statement noted that during the meeting, the Chief Executive calls for the regional cooperation in fight against terrorism, saying terrorism is joint threat for the world and combating against it needs the cooperation of countries in the world.

In the meantime, Croatian president said that Croatia is ready to help and cooperate with Afghan forces in the fight against terrorism.
Mrs. Kitarovic reminded the visit from her country’s soldiers stationed in Mazar-e-Sharif and said that peace and stability in Afghanistan are essential for all the countries in the world.
She also added that Croatia, like the past, is ready to help and cooperate with Afghan security forces in the fight against bullying.
