Taliban Launch Coordinated Attacks on Farah City

Intense clashes have been ongoing between Afghan security forces and Taliban insurgents in centre of Farah province.
Farid Bakhtawar, head of Farah provincial council, told Killid that Taliban militants launched coordinated attacks on the city last night.
He added that clashes are still ongoing in PD 4th of the city in provincial National Directorate of Security (NDS) department.
He further stated that Afghan security forces also sustained casualties but did not provide figure.
Killid tried to seek comments of provincial security officials but no information was provided.
