At least 20 Daesh militants including a commander were killed in air and ground operations in Haska Mina and Pachiragam districts of Nangarhar.
Brigadier Sheren Aqa Faqiri, spokesman for Selab 201 Military Corps, told Killid that 16 Daesh militants were killed in clashes with Afghan National Army (ANA) in Kham and Nareoba areas of Haska Mina last night.
He added that four Daesh militants including a commander were killed in a drone strike in Alef Khel area of Pachiragam.
Faqiri further stated that a large amount of Daesh weapons and ammunition were also destroyed.
According to Faqiri, there were no casualties among Afghan forces.
Daesh militants are yet to comment.
