Sheren Gul, a 28-year old woman, hanged herself to death in Sar-e-Pul province yesterday evening.
Security officials said that the incident happened in Bazarbashe area of Sangcharak district.
Zabiullah Amani, provincial governor’s spokesman, told Killid that the woman left behind a six-year old child.
It is reported that the motive behind the incident is family violence.
