A blast took place in the Yaqoubiao Adi Moque in Khost province around 2:30 pm today.
Dr. Gul Mohammadudin Mohammadi, provincial deputy health director, said that 12 people were killed and 33 injured.
A voter registration office is also functioning in the Mosque.
Eyewitness claimed that a large number of people were killed an injured in the blast.
