Local officials in Nangarhar said that Eftekhar Momand, Nangarhar provincial council member, along with his two bodyguards and a civilian was injured when his vehicle hit a roadside mine.
Ataullah Khogyani, provincial governor’s spokesman, told Killid that the incident happened this morning in Kama district.
Khogyani added that one of Momand’s bodyguards was also killed.
Meanwhile provincial health department said that three injured and one dead body was brought to the hospital.
No group has so far claimed responsibility.
