At least 29 people were killed and 49 injured in two consecutive explosions in Kabul city this morning.
Najib Danish, spokesman for Ministry of Interior Affairs (MOI), said the first explosion happened at about 8am local time in Shashdarak area of Kabul city after a suicide bomber on a motorbike detonated his explosives close to a National Directorate of Security (NDS) department.
The second explosion happened at the scene of the first explosion about 20 minutes later after emergency personnel and journalists arrived in the area.
Meanwhile Ratib Noori, a reporter from AFP News Agency, told Killid that a photojournalist of AFP was also killed in the second blast.
The second blast reportedly happened while journalists and cameramen were busy covering the area.
Daesh claimed responsibility for both consecutive blasts.
