At least 16 Taliban insurgents were killed and 13 injured in clashes with Afghan security forces in Satarkhail, Mahmoud Chambar, Ezatqala, and Abas Qala areas of Moqor district of Ghazni.
The clashes started yesterday afternoon around 3:30 pm and lasted for five hours.
According to the reports, one Afghan national police member along with two local police members was killed and three others injured.
A press release from Ghazni police commandment stated that a large amount of weapons and ammunition of Taliban was also seized.
Taliban militants are yet to comment.
