Ministry of Public Health announced that a new polio campaign will begin today.
A press release from Ministry of Public Health stated that the campaign will immunise 6 million children under the age of five in 23 provinces.
Ferozuddin Feroz, health minister, urged families to vaccinate their children against polio.
Afghanistan, Pakistan and Nigeria are the only countries where polio is still prevalent.
