President Ashraf Ghani received Uzbekistan’s special representative for Afghanistan yesterday evening in ARG (Presidential Palace).
A press release from ARG stated that the Uzbek representative expressed his goal to visit Afghanistan as tracking the decisions made by presidents of Afghanistan and Uzbekistan in Tashkent.
The statement added that Ghani said two working groups, composed of the representatives of the two sides, should be established where one group focuses on issues related to political and peace affairs, and the other concentrates on economic cooperation.
The statement further stated that Ghani praised cooperation of Uzbekistan and successful holding of the Tashkent Conference on Afghanistan.
